That's right, kids! Just when you thought you'd heard it all from Ryan Landry and The Gold Dust Orphans, they're BACK! Back with their biggest, brightest, splashiest, trashiest, most "fantasti-est" MUSICAL yet!
Chock full of nuts, this creamy confection is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth, not to mention all those naughty cravings you've been suppressing lately. Cravings for adult comedy, groovy music, real pathos, titillating adventure and yes, SEX! (Well, there really isn't THAT much sex ... but there IS a leather bar upstairs! ENJOY!)
Based on the Ronald Dahl classic, "CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY", "WILLIE WANKER AND THE HERSHEY HIGHWAY" also tells the tale of little Charlie Bucket ... but with some VERY interesting twists! ... We could spend our time (and yours) going over those twists but really, why spoil the fun?!
As you know, the Orphans are a truly sick bunch ... It's often been said that we'd be doing Boston theater a HUGE favor by simply disappearing ... or better yet, committing ourselves en masse to a high security psychiatric hospital. (And we agree, it IS the reasonable thing to do.)... Lucky for you however, we NEVER LISTEN TO REASON! We mean business, and this time it's "PURSE-N'-ALL"! For we have spent more money to date on this show than any other in the history of our company! WHY? Because we LIKE IT! And you, dear reader are going to L-O-V-E IT!!!
Of course "WILLIE WANKER AND THE HERSHEY HIGHWAY" will star all your Orphan favorites ...
